The late great Steve Priest came out of retirement in 2007. Priest along with drummer Richie Onori, and keyboardist, vocalist Stevie Stewart assembled a group of top caliber national act musicians which Priest could proudly hail to be on the same equal footing and adeptness as the original lineup. For well over a decade his group entertained millions of music fans across the globe delivering high-quality performances every single night. His handpicked band with an unparalleled chemistry continues to forge ahead with the same vigor, intensity & enthusiasm as always, delivering the “Sweet” brand onward into the 21st century, thus keeping Steve Priest’s vision and “Sweet’s” legacy fully intact!
THE BAND
Stevie Stewart (Bass, Keyboards & Co- Manager) Stevie Stewart recorded and performed with many well-known national acts. Stevie met “Steppenwolf’s” co-founder Nick St. Nicholas in the early 80s and set out for decades touring corporate America with the highly renowned all-star super group “World Classic Rockers” playing with fellow all-stars Randy Miesner “The Eagles”, Denny Lane – Paul McCartney’s partner in “Wings”, Fergie Frederiksen “Toto”, Bruce Gary “The Knack”, Carmine Appice “Rod Stewart” “Vanilla Fudge”, Spencer Davis, Barry Goudreau & Fran Cosmo “Boston”, Ainsley Dunbar “Frank Zappa” “Journey” “Whitesnake”, Randall Hall “Lynyrd Skynyrd” and many more. Stevie played the world over many times prior to joining “Sweet”.

Richie Onori (Drummer & Co-Manager) Richie Onori built his career performing and touring with some of the most influential musicians in the fields of rock, funk and jazz, which include Keith Emerson “ELP”, Richie Sambora “Bon Jovi”, Rick Derringer, Joe Lynn Turner “Deep Purple”, Bobby Kimball “Toto”, Paul Rodgers “Bad Company”, Larry Carlton, Uli Jon Roth “Scorpions”, Slash “Guns N’ Roses”, Ronnie James Dio “Rainbow”, and funk genius Louis Johnson “Brothers Johnson”, and lastly Richie was co-founder to the critically acclaimed group “Heaven & Earth” for more than a decade.
Paulie Z (Front man) Paulie Z started performing live on stage as the lead singer and guitarist in various local rock bands such as “Legend”, “Splivey Cool” and “CO2”. It would ultimately be the power trio “ZO2”, co-founded with his brother David Z that would bring him his first taste of success. In 2004 “ZO2” toured the U.S.A. with “KISS” and “Poison” and since then have released three albums and four singles. In 2008 the band landed their own TV series called “Z Rock” which aired for two seasons on the IFC channel. Sweet discovered Paulie at the World Famous “Whisky A Go Go” in West Hollywood where his double duties were host/producer of Ultimate Jam Night.
Dave Schulz (Keyboardist) Dave Schulz is an American keyboardist, vocalist, producer, composer and recording artist well known for his live and studio work with a wide range of major groups and musicians including, “The Goo Goo Dolls”, Stevie Wonder, “Berlin”, Bo Diddley, “Chambers Brothers”, Cherie Currie, Daniel Lanois, “English Beat”, “Fuel”, Glenn Hughes, Macy Gray, Pink, Rick Springfield, Taylor Dayne, Tony Levin, “Wang Chung” and “Warrant”.
